Verdict Meaning

Verdict is a an opinion or judgement reached after weighing the evidence presented, particularly one that is reached at the conclusion of a legal proceeding: The jury came to a decision/returned a judgement of not guilty by a unanimous vote. Last night, voters delivered their judgement on the performance of the administration with regard to the economy by voting in overwhelming numbers for the opposition.
