Supreme Court of Judicature Meaning

This was a court in England that was established in 1873 by the consolidation of numerous superior courts, and it consisted of a court of original jurisdiction (the High Court of Justice) as well as an appellate court (Court of Appeal ). As a result of the Act of 1873, the previously existing higher courts were wiped out, and in their place a brand new Supreme Court of Judicature was established, which was composed of the High Court of Justice and the Court of Appeal.
