Statutory Instrument Meaning

Statutory instruments, also known as SIs, are a type of legislation that make it possible for the provisions of an Act of Parliament to be subsequently brought into force or altered without necessitating the passing of a new Act by Parliament. This type of legislation is known as statutory instruments. Other names for them include subsidiary legislation, delegated legislation, and subordinate legislation.
