sENIOR COURTS MEANING

In England and Wales, the judicial body known as the Senior Courts of England and Wales is comprised of the Court of Appeal, the High Court of Justice, and the Crown Court. Prior to 1981, this institution was known as the Supreme Court of Judicature, and from 1981 until 2009, it was known as the Supreme Court of England and Wales.
