Reversed

REVERSED MEANING

The determination that the verdict handed down by a lower court was wrong and should be overturned as a result of the decision made by an appeals court. As a consequence of this, the lower court that first heard the case has been ordered to either amend its verdict, retry the case, or dismiss the action altogether. When a case is reversed, the lower court that heard the case is given the instruction to throw out the previous decision and rerun the case. This is the effect of the case being overturned.

Law books

Law Tutor publishes books that are a collection of a barrister's and a professor's legal notes. These texts were created with the LLB at UCL and the CILEX examinations in mind, as well as the SQE evaluation criteria. The LLB, SQE, CILEX, PGDL, GDL, and UOL may all benefit from using these law textbooks and study materials.
