Respondent MEANING

Respondent is the individual or a company who is being claimed against or who is replying to the application is referred to as the defendant or the respondent. You will commmonly see the phrase respondent in The Employment Tribunal. They and their witnesses could be given the chance to testify about what happened. During the time that they are in the witness box, they may also have the opportunity to ask the applicant or claimant questions.
