Recorder MEANING
Recorder is a member of the legal profession (barristers or solicitors) who are appointed to act in a judicial capacity on a part time basis. Recorders are necessary for the active management of cases as well as the determination of claims during the trial. The responsibilities of a recorder include presiding over court sessions, aiding parties in the preparation of their cases for trial, and giving judgements in applications as well as argued trials.
