President of the Queens Bench Division MEANING

As a result of the Judicature Act of 1873, the court eventually became a division of the High Court of Justice known as the Queen's Bench. In the p resent era, the Queen appointed a president to lead the Queen's Bench Division. This president is chosen based on the recommendations of a special panel that was put together by an independent Judicial Appointments Commission. The president of the Queen's Bench Division reports directly to the Queen. The Honorable Dame Victoria Madeleine Sharp, DBE, PC is the current President of the King's Bench Division of the High Court of Justice in England and Wales. She was born on February 8, 1956.
