Lord Chief Justice

Lord Chief Justice meaning

The Lord Chief Justice is the head of the English and Welsh judiciary. They are also the President of the English and Welsh Courts and are responsible for articulating the opinions of the judiciary to Parliament and the Government. Now, there are 12 positions: 1 President, 1 Vice President, and 10 Justices. The Lord Chief Justice normally serves as President of the Criminal Division of the Court of Appeal and Head of Criminal Justice, which refers to its technical procedures within the legal sphere. Nevertheless, the 2005 Act allows the Lord Chief Justice to designate another judge to these posts.

Law Books

Our law books are written by a former law lecturer and barrister and are called Law Tutor's Books. They are an extensive collection of legal notes that have been specifically designed to meet the needs of the University of London's LLB programme, the CILEX qualification framework, and the SQE assessment specification. Yet anybody taking legal classes at any institution or taking the LLB, SQE, CILEX, PGDL, GDL, or UOL law examinations will find the law books valuable.
