Intestate
Intestate Meaning
intestate it is considered that a person has died "intestate" if they did not leave a will before they passed away. In the event that this occurs, the law specifies who is responsible for handling the dead person's business and who is entitled to inherit their inheritance (property, personal belongings and money).
The children of a parent who has passed away without leaving a will are entitled to receive the whole inheritance in the event that there is no surviving spouse or partner. This is true regardless of how much money the estate is worth. In the event that there are two or more offspring, the inheritance will be split evenly among all of them.
