my experience

what makes me stand out?

Teaching appointments

I have taught at the Middlesex College of Law where I taught land law, the law of evidence and Legal Study Skills for the University of London LLB Degree programme. I have been a lecturer at Holborn College where I was the module leader in Land law and a tutor in EU law, Contract law, Equity & Trusts and English Legal system. I was also given a graduate teaching position at Southampton University teaching land law as part of my PhD programme. I was also awarded and scholarship by the Chartered Institute of Taxation. In my most recent appointments I was a Course coordinator for BARBRI and I was a lecturer at Westminster University.

The University of westminster

I was a university law tutor, lecturer and module leader. I was employed by Westminster University as the module leader to Tax Law. I was responsible for the entire Undergraduate Tax Law Module in 2008 and 2009. I was also given additional Law tutoring duties in Contract Law, EU Law, Land Law and Legal skills and processes. My responsibilities included marking assignments, teaching and grading examinations, therefore I have first hand experience of what examiners are looking for so I can help students get the best possible marks.

Other teaching experience

I have worked as trainee solicitor at firm of Solicitors in Ascot. In this post I was independently responsible for all employment and civil litigation matters at the firm. I also had a commercial and land law caseload. I further assisted the firm’s principle in advising and researching on all tax issues. Another job I have held is the post of visiting lecturer in the subjects of International Tax law and Labour and Social Law at the University of Applied Sciences, Wiener Neustadt, Austria, on the Business Consultancy International (“BCi”) Degree programme.

WHY ME as your law tutor?

You may be asking yourself, why choose me as your law tutor? Especially considering the numerous law tutors you have to choose from. It is essential that a student chooses the right tutor. It is equally as important that I find the right students. When working with people it needs to be enjoyable, productive and a lasting relationship. If I sound like the type of law tutor you want to work with as a consultant get in touch. I have tried to answer the common types of questions that I get asked in the below section. I have further detailed below why I am successful at what I do.

Teaching the SQE & Bar course

I teach students that are studying to become Solicitors and Barristers. I am well equipped with their course of study and the different assessments they will face, namely practical legal research, portfolio work, drafting, opinion writing, advocacy and content for multiple choice examination such as business law and practice, civil and criminal procedure. I am a expert in employment law and I can along with teaching my students legal skills I can combine this with work experience. I have had many students assist me in preparation and at trial in the Employment tribunal.

Law Tuition service I provide

I started tutoring law in 2009 when left Westminster University.  I started law tutoring because I have a genuine interest in teaching and research. I have worked for many of the law tutoring agencies that are based in London. I always get students asking me if they can contact me directly, well now they can. I help both law students and practising professionals with all areas of their course from coursework preparation, dissertation support, teaching, advocacy, critical thinking and career help with personal statements and CV’s.
