Master of the Rolls MEANING

As Head of Civil Justice, the Master of the Rolls also serves as Chair of the Civil Justice Council and the Civil Process Rule Committee. In this capacity, the Master of the Rolls is accountable for the creation of new civil justice policies and the supervision of existing ones. At the very least, the site goes back to the 13th century. The prefix "Right Honourable" is bestowed to the Master of the Rolls due to the fact that he serves as both the Head of Division and a Member of the Privy Council. Sir Geoffrey Vos is now serving in the role of Master of the Rolls.
